“The Blue Madonna — Unconditional Love; Unconditional Sorrow,” Digital, 2014
This is a Cintiq Companion, digital manipulation and updated revision of the acrylic canvas Madonna of the Light—My Boy, from the All Things Holy art exhibition, in 2013.
The All Things Holy art exhibition was my awards show, granted by and held at Artel Gallery, Pensacola Fl, for winning Best of Show, in 2012, with my canvas The Green Vase.

This piece grew out of my digital spiral studies from last October. I’m still working out the best way to photograph my work. Most of them consist of multiple layers of colored glazes, which don’t seem to translate satisfactorily in to a digital format. I think an overcast, outdoor photo shoot might produce better results than studio lighting.

“bōs—the sacrifice” is a piece that is currently in the “All Things Holy” exhibition at Artel Gallery, Pensacola, FL.
To my delight, this little guy became the darling of “All Things Holy” on opening night. The crowd’s response was more than gracious.
