“Origin” \u00a92012 Acrylic on Canvas, 48″ x 36″<\/p><\/div>\n

“Origin” is\u00a0\u00a0currently in the\u00a0\u201cAll Things Holy\u201d exhibition at Artel Gallery, Pensacola, FL<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This piece grew out of my digital spiral studies<\/a> from last October. I’m still working out the best way to photograph my work. Most of them consist of multiple layers of colored glazes, which don’t seem to translate satisfactorily in to a digital format. I think an overcast, outdoor photo shoot might produce better results than studio lighting.<\/p>\n
